Book for British Council

Celebrating International Day of Peace ||
As I sit and write this post I am overwhelmed with emotion and gratitude

When I was asked to be one of ten authors to contribute to the British Council's Book Titled "Reflections on Building Inclusive and Sustainable Peace" reflecting back on the Peace and Beyond Conference

I wasn't sure I was capable or even qualified to have my name in the same book as former presidents, professors and directors yet I agreed

Today reading the final book that has allowed me to express my thoughts on mental health, education and post conflict societies alongside pieces by Juan Manuel Santos Calderón (former President of Colombia and Nobel Peace Prize recipient), Bekim Blakaj (My dear friend heading up the Humanitarian Law Centre in Kosovo) I am both speechless and honoured

This is truly something I will hold dear to me for the rest of my life
